Today’s podcast episode is with Mark Coleman again and is meant to slow you down on this busy day.

Like we discussed on Thursday in “From Suffering to Peace,” mindfulness isn’t always easy.

Mark said, “You notice you start thinking about work and you go, ‘Okay that’s not what I’m doing right now…not now.” And you go back to meditating and two seconds later you were thinking, ‘oh I forgot to drop the kids lunches off at school…’”

It’s a mindLESS trap we all fall into.

Take a moment today to tune into Mark’s Memorial Day Meditation. Let it bring some intention and calm to today’s chaos.

Be sure to leave a review on Itunes today if you can, and share with a friend who could use some calm in their life.

In 2006, David Ditchfield had a freak accident in which he was dragged under a speeding train.

As the surgeons fought to save him, he had a profound near-death experience (NDE) and journeyed to what he believes was the Afterlife.
When he woke up in hospital, he had acquired astonishing new abilities where he could produce fine art paintings and composing classical music.
This is all the more astonishing as David had never received any training in classical music and never composed such music before his NDE.
In fact, to this day, he cannot read or write a single note of musical notation. His debut symphony, The Divine Light, was inspired by his NDE and was premiered at a sell-out concert.
Additionally, Dave has completed more than thirty paintings and a number of commissioned artworks. He lives, paints and composes in a converted riverside mill near Cambridge, UK.

After hearing near death experiences from many other guests, this is a fascinating exploration deeper into this topic.

We discuss…
David’s life before and after his NDE
What it’s really like to stare death in the face
Channeling art and music – what does that look like?
You can hear more of David’s story at the Second Annual Online Near-Death Experience Conference. Speakers in this picture include Paul Perry, Dr. Tony Cicoria, Kimberly Clark Sharp, Dr. Eben Alexander, Karen Newell, David Ditchfield, Nancy Rynes, Dr. Raymond Moody, Dr. Jeffrey Long, John Burke, Lisa Smartt, Howard Storm, and Lesley Lupo. When you join this online summit, you can get access to over 11 hours of video interviews with world renowned researchers, and you have the chance to ask your individual questions of these speakers.

How do we make sense of life when we are faced with something difficult? What kind of light can we make out of darkness?

Today, Barri Leiner Grant is her to tell us how she has manage to transform the loss of her mother into something very meaningful, in this new segment, Making Meaning.

Barri is an author, stylist, yogi and self-proclaimed memory maker.

For over two decades, Grant has established herself in the editorial and commercial markets—prepping, propping and conceptualizing everything from well-curated trend stories to memorable interior design shoots. Leading architects, photographers interior designers and leading retailers to help personalize their design work often tap her.

It is this kind of story telling that led her to create The Memory Circle.

After losing her mom Ellen suddenly in 1993, at the age of 50, Barri has had a spiritual connection to those who have experienced loss and grief.

The Memory Circle is a community and events created to bring grief stories to light.

To sit shoulder to shoulder with those who have experienced loss, so that no one is ever alone in the journey.

“I am on a mission. To bring grief out of the shadows — and out from under a cloak of sadness.” Barri believes our lost loved ones should be celebrated, talked about and remembered. And that sharing grief should not be experienced in whispers.

Leiner Grant has served as a contributor to CS Interiors, Chicago Magazine, Crain’s, Michigan Avenue Magazine, The Chicago Tribune and Country Living Magazine.

Excited and nervous to share today’s episode with you. One of the goals of this podcast was to be open and brave about topics people might be curious about related to how to understand their life.  Today, in my first solo episode, I am sharing my between life soul regression, which is a mix of a past life regression and a between life regression.

This episode will make more sense if you listen to parts one and two with Robert Schwartz and part three from last week with Michele Brock.

Today you will hear me discuss…

  • My experience with my regression
  • The emotions that I experienced that were completely surprising to me
  • Which part of the regression I found the most valuable

Robert Schwartz discussed

  • Pre-birth planning and what this means
  • Free will and how this plays a role in our lives
  • Robert’s understanding about how “illness,” addiction, death and suffering is a choice and why this is tough for many to understand.
  • Karma and lessons our lives teach us
  • “if/then” points in your life and what those are
  • Why some people come to this earthly realm knowing that the hardships are lessons while others feel the need to fight it

Michele Brock breaks down…

  • Past life regressions
  • How past life regression can be used for healing and growth?
  • Is there a difference between regression or your imagination?
  • Can we be living in simultaneous time?

These episodes will give you a great basis for what you will hear today.
